Advertising Opportunities on PurelyCoffeeBeans

PurelyCoffeeBeansDot Com is a blog focused on helping readers discover and make the most of their coffee beans, coffee drinks, coffee makers, and how to make coffee.

Advertisers are most welcome to purchase ads to reach our coffee loving readership. This readership includes 178,000 pageviews (total) in the last 12 months, 100 Web 2.0 readers, and 190 pages of content and comments.

Basic Stats

For advertisers, these are some of the relevant stats:

* Monthly Page Views: 26K (12 month range from: 11K to 26K)
* Alexa US Ranking: 1,411K +/-10%
* PR: 0 ~ 2 (current ranking: 2)
* Newsletter Subscribers, Facebook Presence, and Feed Readers: 215 (est.)

* This site currently has 150 pages with 102 published comments, too
* Quality pages loved by both readers and search engines.

We offer two ways to advertise currently: banners and page sponsorships.

Banners: Buttons, Banners...

PurelyCoffeeBeans offers banner ad placement (click to view) (125x125 and 336x280 and 300x250 and 160x600pxs) slots, text ads (either in the sidebar - for run-of-site - or on pages, we also offer a limited page sponsorship deal where you sponsor a page you like. 

A. 125x125 Banners: appears at the top right of the blog. This banner appears on every page of the blog. You can see a sample of the block on the right here.

There are a maximum of two blocks per page, and no rotation. I'm currently offering each block at $10pm per block. This ad shows on EVERY page of this PurelyCoffeeBeans. Purchase here.

B. 336x280 Slots: This is the largest block of ads on the site, occurs on 99% of the content pages (NOT the homepage) or near the beginning of the content. This is the first of two in-content ad blocks and is the most successful of all the ad blocks available.

i. 336x280 Premium Slot: It's the Top/Center Block. This Premium Slot currently is available at $15pm per rotation. Only one such block shows per page. There are five ads in rotation on this slot. This premium slot is listed on the top 35 pages of the site and has the optimum CTR of all the slots. Purchase here.

ii. 336x280 Value Slot: It's the Top/Center Block. This Value Slot currently is available at $5pm per rotation. Only one such block shows per page. There are five ads in rotation on this slot. This value slot is listed on the remainining 80+ content pages of the site. It's good for creating brand exposure to your site/products. Both the Premium & Value slots may occur above, on, or slightly below the fold depending on the article content.

C. 300x250 Slot: This second ad block occurs at the bottom of most pages. There is only one ad block of this size per page. There are a maximum of five ads in rotation, and we're currently offering each block at $3pm per rotation. Purchase here.

D. 160x600 Slot – This is the longest of the ad blocks, and appears on EVERY page of PurelyCoffeeBeans. It is mid-page so is placed well below the fold. There is no rotation on this block, and the ad block is available at $12pm for the entire block. Purchase here.

Page Sponsorships

PurelyCoffeeBeans also maintains a lot of pages on general coffee information that are very suitable for page sponsorship. What this means is that you get a banner/text announcement that you are sponsoring a page for a particular period of time. Search in Google for the pages that are listed by searching for the keywords.

Each page sponsorship is valid for 12 months and costs $10 per annum. You may sponsor any number of pages. Since you are sponsoring already written pages, you will see the pages listed in the search engines and some may have quite a lot of traffic. Purchase here.

Link Ads and Reviews

These are not currently available except by special request.

For Your Information

i. PurelyCoffeeBeans does not encourage advertisers to engage in buying page rank. PCB suggest instead that advertisers focus advertising for real traffic or real human visitors as the final metric by which a particular ad campaign's success is judged.

ii. PurelyCoffeeBeans is a fast developing site, with new content & visitors every month. We may raise our pricing on these slots in the coming months. However, I promise to maintain the original prices for advertisers who advertise continually.

In other words, if you buy your ad slot for three months and then renew and renew, you will still be paying the same price in the second renewal, provided your account is in good standing.

iii. We do accept JPG, PNG and GIFs, but we ask that you keep the size down to less than 100kb. Many users are still reading blogs, etc. on slow connections, dialup or mobile or 3G/4G connections which tend to be SLOW.

Similarly, we discourage FLASH because they are not viewable on many devices, are sometimes buggy, and can be ANNOYING!

iv. All ads are submitted for approval by the administrator and should not be on the following list of excluded items.
